This Privacy Policy describes how Havit Hydraulics Inc ("we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit havit-hydraulics.com (the "Site"). Havit Hydraulics Inc is located at 11875 W. Little York Rd., Suite 1104, Houston, TX 77041, USA.
Information we collect
You can browse the Site without creating an account or submitting any personal information. Like most websites, our web server automatically records technical data about each request — such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of access — in server log files, which we use only to operate and secure the Site. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to share, such as your name, email address and the contents of your message.
Quote request form
If you use the quote request form on our Custom Made Parts page, we receive the details you enter (name, company, email address, phone number, your message and quantity) together with any files you attach (PDF drawings, STEP models). Your submission, including your IP address, is transmitted to us by email through our email delivery provider; the files are processed in memory only and are not stored on this website. We use your submission solely to prepare and follow up on your quote. To prevent abuse, the form applies automated spam checks and limits the number of submissions per IP address; for this purpose IP addresses are held briefly in server memory.
How we use information
We use the information you provide solely to respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes and provide the products and services you request. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or send marketing emails without your consent.
Cookies and analytics
The Site itself does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services. Embedded third-party content described below may set its own cookies, subject to the respective provider’s privacy policy.
Third-party content
The Site embeds content from third parties that may collect usage data under their own privacy policies: the Google Maps location map on our Contact page (Google LLC) and the CADENAS PARTcommunity product configurator on our Products pages (CADENAS GmbH). These embeds load when you open the respective page; we do not control the data these providers collect.
How we share information
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate the Site — our hosting provider (whose servers are located in the European Union) and our email delivery provider — and only to the extent needed to provide their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.
Data retention
We keep inquiry and quote-related emails for as long as needed to handle your request and to meet business and legal record-keeping requirements. Server log files are kept for a short period for security and troubleshooting purposes and are then deleted.
Security
The Site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the information you send us. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s privacy
The Site is a business-to-business offering and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children; if you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
You may contact us at any time to ask what personal information we hold about you and to request that we correct or delete it.
